Biography

Chen Zixiang began working in July 2007 (Plastic Surgery). In July 2019, he received his PhD from Peking Union Medical College (Plastic Surgery) under the supervision of Professor Qi Zuoliang. During his doctoral studies, he studied in the Department of Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery with his supervisor, accumulating work experience in related departments. In August 2019, he began working at the Plastic Surgery Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and successively worked in the Department of Rhinoplasty, Department of Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery, Department of Scar Plastic Surgery, Department of Cleft Lip and Palate Plastic Surgery, and Department of Facial and Neck Plastic Surgery, accumulating extensive experience in related surgeries. Since August 2021, he has been working in his current department (Department of Scar and Wound Treatment). He has participated in multiple research projects, including General Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Key Projects of the Capital Characteristic Development Fund, and Beijing Natural Science Foundation projects. He has currently published 6 papers as first author, including 2 SCI papers and 4 papers in Chinese core journals. He currently serves as Secretary of the Extremity Plastic Surgery Group, Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association; Member of the Fat Plastic Surgery Group, Plastic Surgery Branch of the Chinese Medical Association; and Member of the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Professional Group of the Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Expert Volunteer Committee.
Areas of Expertise:
1. Plastic and aesthetic repair of scars, keloids, moles, and other superficial lesions: comprehensive application of skin tissue expansion, fine aesthetic suturing, lasers, and other methods to reduce and fade scars and achieve aesthetic repair results.
2. Excision and release of facial and cervical scar contractures.
3. Liposuction-based body contouring for cesarean section scars and abdominal wall reshaping: repair of uneven incisional scars after cesarean section and abdominal liposuction contouring surgery.
4. Surgery for skin lesions such as nevi and masses.
5. Periocular aesthetic plastic surgery, including double eyelid surgery, eye bag removal, and brow lift.
6. Small-incision excision for axillary osmidrosis.
7. Surgical repair of various refractory wounds (such as pressure ulcers, etc.).
8. Injectable micro-plastic procedures such as botulinum toxin.
